| Details: BusinessGE Technology InfrastructureBusiness SegmentTechnology Infrastructure - HealthcareAbout UsXRole Summary/PurposeEssential ResponsibilitiesProvide detailed electrical designs and drive new product introduction of next generation Magnetic Resonance Imaging Radio Frequency (MRI RF) coils. Develop and document verification and validation testing of new product introduction (NPI) coils, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and customer critical criteria for new coil deliverables. Provide engineering design support in radio frequency circuit design for existing productions. Utilize state-of-the-art electromagnetic design tools/CAD in the simulation and analysis of complex designs using electro-magnetic field theory, circuit analysis, and field simulation CAD. Work cross-functionally to meet Customer �Critical-to-Quality" objectives. Lead new coil engineering design processes through all phases of new product introduction programs including supply chain, customer interface, manufacturing introduction and supplier interface.Qualifications/RequirementsMaster�s degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Medical Physics, Physics or Biomedical Engineering is required. Three years (36 months) of experience as a Coils Design Engineer, Engineer (Electronic, Electrical or Lead), RF Project Engineer or Design Engineer is acceptable. Three years of experience must include some experience with Radio Frequency Circuit design, electro-magnetic field theory, circuit analysis, field simulation CAD and new product introduction (NPI).Additional Eligibility QualificationsGE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work.
